Mechanical Engineer—Experienced or Entry Level
Mechanical Engineer   TES Engineering is a growing consulting engineering firm with offices in Westlake and Playhouse Square. Our clients are diverse and include high profile national clients such as Apple, Forever 21, H&M, Uniqlo, and Lululemon.   We seek a qualified Mechanical Engineer who shares our beliefs about client service to join our mechanical engineering department.   The Mechanical Engineer’s responsibilities include heating and air conditioning specification, duct and piping specification and design; performing heating, cooling and energy calculations; producing drawings and specifications for use by the construction industry; managing projects; and client contact.   We seek a talented individual either with 5+ years of demonstrated experience with mechanical design in the building and construction or facilities engineering industries, or a recent graduate; a BSME; and very strong AutoCAD proficiency, preferably with Revit experience. Drafter AutoCAD Designer

  • AutoCAD drafting utilizing templates, formats and standards
  • Drawing set-ups
  • Redlines and document creation from sketches
  • Ensuring a consistent and professional construction document look
  • HVAC, plumbing and electrical design guided by engineers and project managers
  The ideal candidate will have:
  • Appropriate training in drafting and AutoCAD
  • Associate’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience with HVAC systems, electrical circuiting, or architectural drafting
  • Demonstrated AutoCAD skills
  • Ability to create professional construction documents
  • Revit experience is a plus!
