RELIGIOUS

TES Engineering has broad experience in MEP design for religious buildings. Our projects have included HVAC, electrical, and plumbing for entirely new facilities, renovations, additions, and expansions of the sanctuary, narthex, balcony, kitchen, gathering hall, classrooms, and lavatories. For religious schools, we have renovated computer labs, libraries, cafeterias, and gymnasiums, and have designed systems for a new science building and dormitories.

We know how to get the job done with the least possible disruption. And we are experienced in dealing with the aesthetic preservation challenges of religious buildings. For example, where classic construction prohibits overhead heating and air-conditioning, we design under-floor duct systems. Our projects have sometimes involved relocating utilities or retrofitting air-conditioning into existing churches. And we have a great deal of experience in evaluating and replacing boiler systems. We also have performed energy audits for churches that show estimated annual energy cost savings, implementation costs, and payback periods.

TES always seeks to provide the best value by looking for the most cost-effective engineering solutions and recommending more energy-efficient equipment to replace old units. We create "buildable" documents that include all details of the job to produce better quality construction bids without contingencies that are easy to compare. For projects following "green" building guidelines, TES offers sustainable design and LEED®–Accredited Professionals to help projects earn points toward USGBC certification.
