Hausmann Joins TES Engineering as Senior Mechanical Engineer

CLEVELAND, OH — Sept. 19, 2003 — K. Dieter Hausmann, P.E. has joined TES Engineering as senior mechanical engineer, bringing 20 years of mechanical engineering, consulting and management experience to the consulting MEP engineering firm. President Lawrence M. Thomas, P.E. announced the appointment.
Hausmann is primarily responsible for new business development and client consultation. His additional duties include project coordination, specification writing, HVAC and plumbing system design and equipment selection. He also will lend his experience to the TES staff and will assist in overseeing the quality of mechanical designs.
As owner, president and engineering manager of the Westlake, OH-based consulting engineering firm K.D. Hausmann, Professional Engineer, Inc., he brings his clients to TES. Prior to starting his firm in 1992, he held positions as project manager and project engineer with Cleveland area consulting engineering firms Stecklow and Associates Co., P.A. and Resource Design, Inc.
Hausmann earned his B.S.M.E. degree from The Ohio State University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Kentucky. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, Building Officials and Code Administrators, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers and American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
