CLEVELAND, OH —Aug. 26, 2008 —TES Engineering, a national consulting mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering firm, has joined the ranks of the Inc. 5000 for 2008. The annual award, presented by New York-based Inc. magazine, honors the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth for 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent. Minimum revenue requirements were $200,000 in 2004 and $2 million in 2007.
TES’ revenues grew 89.1% during the three-year period. Additional revenue increases of more than 70 percent are projected by 2010.
Due to its rapid growth, TES had doubled its space at its previous location in 2004, and moved to new quarters in July 2006 to accommodate further staff expansion. The current facility has room to triple in size to meet the needs for future growth.
President Lawrence (Larry) M. Thomas, P.E., attributes TES’ success to the Firm’s people and approach to customer service. “This is further confirmation that instilling a focus on ‘Raving Fans’-level customer service and Dependable Guidance into our culture really resonates with our clients,” he says. “My partner, Steve Chase, and I are very honored by this award.”
