CENTRAL PLANT SYSTEM

Central Plant System Design Experience

  • Reliance Electric - Replaced an existing 400-ton centrifugal water-cooled chiller, upgraded mechanical room ventilation systems and installed automated refrigerant detection devices. Chiller replacement project was designed with new ASHRAE standards for ventilation and refrigerant leak detection.
  • Lakeland Community College - Replaced multiple chillers ranging up to 700 tons in capacity including pumping systems and controls.
  • Winterhurst Ice Rink - Replaced existing chillers and pumps.
  • Siebert Power Coatings - Installed air-cooled and water-cooled chillers to provide cooling for both environmental and production requirements. Designed both process-heating steam and hot water system for industrial applications.
  • Manchester Schools - Added new air-cooled chillers to heating and ventilating air handlers to provide cooling to a previously non-cooled school.
  • Play House Square - Added air-cooled chillers, pumps and piping distribution system to provide chilled water cooling to downtown historical office buildings.
  • KraftMaid Cabinetry - Designed air-cooled chillers to handle a process air load to reduce and control the fan heat gain off dust collection fans with 150 HP motors.
  • Penton Press Berea - Replaced water-cooled chiller and modified existing piping improving system performance and predictability.
  • OEM - Miller - Replaced existing process cooling chiller with new increased capacity chiller in conjunction with adding RTU cooling to an injection molding production facility.
  • Wooster Brush - Designed perimeter radiant ceiling panel heating system using hot water heat.
